What is your superpower?

I love this question; it’s one of my favorite things to ask candidates on interviews. My superpower is the ability to create order out of chaos so that things get done. Having founded two startups, I can take a dream of an idea and break it down into steps to make it a reality. 

Who are some of the Wonder Women in your life?

I’m fortunate to have so many powerful and admirable women in my life, among them: my co-founder Scarlett Johansson, our team members at The Outset, my mom and my daughter. 

What do you hope the next generation of Wonder Women accomplishes? 

I believe that the next generation will accomplish more and question themselves less. I’d love to see more women claim their space with confidence and without reservation. How cool would it be if gender-induced “imposter syndrome” and limiting mindsets were a thing of the past? 

How can women uplift and celebrate each other?

Always ask “how can I help?” Even the smallest acts of kindness can have a big impact. So many of my founder friends are generous with their networks and advice — I love this current climate that favors collaboration over competition, where we can all win together. 

Wonder Women also need a break. How do you recharge? 

Being with family is therapeutic for me, whether we’re watching sports or sharing popcorn and a movie. My daughter and I love to put on our blue clay face mask, zen out, and watch a show together.
